3/31/08 - This project will add a variable frequency drive (VFD) to the existing well and add a new emergency generator to provide power to the well to meet the fire protection code. The apparent low bidder for this project is Arco Electric. A pre-construction meeting was held on March 20, 2008. The Contractor was given notice to proceed on Monday, March 24, 2008.
5/13/08 - A change order is being prepared to add additional time to the contract due to the delay in obtaining the required permits for this project from Tooele County. Submittals have been approved and procurement of the new generator and variable frequency drive is in process.
