Fingerprint/Security Threat Assessment Fees

There is a $27.00 non-refundable fee for each set of fingerprints processed. This fee is the cost the Airport pays to the FBI to conduct the background check.

There is also a $3.00 fee for the Security Threat Assessment. This fee is charged when the initial badge is issued and also on a recurrent annual basis.

Companies are invoiced on a monthly basis for all fingerprints/threat assessments conducted for their employees.

 

Contractor (Construction) Badges

FOR ALL PROJECTS BID AFTER JULY 1, 2012:

A badge deposit is required on each construction project based on the project cost as shown in the following table. The full deposit amount must be submitted before badges and vehicle ramp permits may be issued. At the completion of the project, a $250 fee for each non-returned badge, $50 fee for each non-returned vehicle ramp permit, and $100 for each non-returned key will be deducted from the deposit and the remaining balance refunded. The deposit must be submitted by the General Contractor.

The deposit is in addition to the $30.00 non-refundable fee to conduct the TSA-required fingerprint check and security threat assessment (STA). These fees are invoiced to the general contractor on a monthly basis as background checks are processed throughout the duration of the project. There is also an annual recurrent fee of $3.00 for the TSA-required security threat assessment that will be assessed on badges that extend past one year. This fee is invoiced during the month that coincides with the original STA submittal.

 

Ground Transportation Driver Fees

  Initial Badge Fee: $95.00

Replacement Fees for Lost/Stolen Badges

The following fees are charged to the individual and must be paid at the time a replacement badge is obtained:

  First replacement: $25.00
  Second replacement: $50.00
  Third replacement: $100.00

(Individual must meet with the Airport Security Coordinator before third badge will be issued)

If the badge is later found and returned, a partial refund will be given as follows:

  First replacement: $15.00
  Second replacement: $30.00
  Third replacement: $50.00

 

Fees for Non-returned Badges

A $100 fee is assessed for each badge not returned when no longer needed. This fee is assessed to the company.
