This project will include installation of new escalators from the concourse level to the third level restaurant in Terminal 1 as well as removal of the existing solid wall on the northeast perimeter of the restaurant area and replacing the solid wall with a glass railing to increase visibility to the restaurant level. Other work will include rerouting of utilities and modifying building services as required to support the new concessions program.

11/9/11
A pre-construction meeting was held on November 3, 2011. A notice to proceed was issued at that time. The Contractor is currently going through the badging process. Shop drawings are being submitted for procurement of equipment and materials.

2/9/12
The escalators have been installed and anchored to the mezzanine and third level restaurant. The escalator railing and landing decks are being constructed. The project is approximately 70% complete.

3/14/12
This project is substantially complete. The Contractor is currently working on punch list items.
