The bid opening for this project was held on March 14, 2012. The apparent low bidder was Wasatch West Contracting. However, the City's Value-Based Procurement Program applied and after review of requested documentation, it was determined that Precision Construction had the more responsible bid. Contract documents are currently being executed with Precision Construction.
5/08/12
A pre-construction meeting was held on April 19, 2012 and a notice to proceed was given at that time. The tile submittals have been approved. The tile has been ordered from the manufacturer. Estimated delivery time is approximately five weeks. Material submittals are currently being reviewed.
6/13/12
The Contractor has completed approximately 70% of the painting. The floor tile has been removed and the new tile is scheduled to arrive on June 22, 2012.
