  • No Summer Vacation for Salt Lake City International—September 19, 2007
    Passenger levels during June and July were extraordinary at Salt Lake City International Airport. The airport handled 2,016,756 passengers in June, a 4.15% increase over last June. During July, 2,113,178 passengers used the airport, a 2.91% increase over last July. Year-to-date, the airport is running a 3.12% increase in passengers compared to the same period in 2006.
  • Delta Air Lines Announces Nonstop Service to Paris—August 23, 2007
    Delta to launch first trans-Atlantic flight from Salt Lake City with new nonstop service to Paris. New flight positions Delta as the only U.S. carrier to operate nonstop service to French capital.
  • Mayor Appoints New Airport Director—January 10, 2007
    Mayor Rocky Anderson today appointed Maureen Riley as the new Executive Director of the Salt Lake City International Airport, subject to the advice and consent of the City Council. Riley currently serves as Director of Aviation Services at RW Block Consulting, Inc. in Orlando, Florida.
