TRAX/Light Rail Service and Bus
Public transportation to and from the Salt Lake City International Airport is provided by the Utah Transit Authority (UTA).
The TRAX/light rail Green Line leaves the airport every 15 minutes on weekdays and every 20 minutes on weekends. The TRAX stop is located at the south end of Terminal 1. To locate the TRAX stop, visit our Airport Terminal Map.
TRAX Hours of Operation (departing SLC)
Weekdays: 5:42 a.m. to 11:27 p.m.
Weekends: 6:31 a.m. to 11:11 p.m.
UTA's Route 453 from Salt Lake City to Tooele and Route 454 from Salt Lake City to Grantsville provide limited service to the airport on weekdays. Route 551 provides limited service from the airport to the International Center on weekday mornings, and from the International Center to the airport on weekday afternoons and evenings. There is no bus service on weekends or holidays. Bus stops are located on the curb outside of the UTA Welcome Center at the south end of Terminal 1 and outside of Terminal 2 adjacent to bag claim number 8.
One-way fare for the bus and train is $2.50.
