SLC Airport Road Detour Coming Friday
A change is coming Friday, Oct. 27 to the entrance road leading into the Salt Lake City International Airport. At 4 a.m., Terminal Drive will be diverted with one lane splitting off to the left leading to the Economy Parking Lot and the other lanes splitting off to the right and leading to the parking garage, rental car return and terminals
Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) is expecting a record number of passengers Oct. 18 and 19, during the Utah Education Association (UEA) break. Upwards of 25,000 passengers each day are expected to travel through the airport during this time.

Mayor Jackie Biskupski selects airline industry and logistics expert Bill Wyatt to lead Salt Lake City Department of Airports
Today, Mayor Jackie Biskupski announced Bill Wyatt as her choice for the Executive Director of the Salt Lake City Department of Airports.

SLC Airport Director Announces Retirement
The Salt Lake City Dept. of Airports (SLCDA) Executive Director Maureen Riley has announced plans to retire June 30, 2017. Riley has served as the Airport director for the past 10 years. She was appointed to the position by former Salt Lake City Mayor Rocky Anderson in February 2007.
The Salt Lake City Dept. of Airports (SLCDA) has awarded Austin Okland Aviation the contract to build the North Concourse construction project, which is part of The New SLC redevelopment program.
The New SLC is still a few years away from opening its doors, but an orientation process about doing business at the new Airport is about to begin.

SLC Announces Successful Bond Sale
The Salt Lake City Department of Airports today announced successful results of the sale of $1 billion of airport revenue bonds. Very strong demand and investor confidence resulted in the 30-year bonds being sold at rates below 3.8 percent.
